Community Commitment

Community Commitment

At Spartanburg Rehabilitation Institute we are committed to being good neighbors and responsible corporate citizens to the communities we serve. We do this through not only the healthcare services we provide but through our dedication to philanthropic support throughout the area. Locally, we are involved with:

  • American Heart Association
  • Blood Connection
  • Josey-Bearden Breast Health Center
  • Mobile Meals
  • Salvation Army
  • Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce
  • Spartanburg County Rotary
  • Spartanburg Regional Foundation
  • Wounded Warriors

Virtual Support Groups

Amputee Support Group (Virtual)
We have partnered with the National Amputee Alliance to offer support groups for amputees and their caregivers.
Until we can again have support groups “in-person” at SRI, we encourage the amputees and caregivers in our community to check out this great resource from the National Amputee Coalition. These virtual support group meetings are held every 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Thursday of each month.

Stroke Support Group (Virtual)
The stroke support group will be held through the SC Vocational Rehabilitation Department. It is the second Tuesday of every month, from 6:30-8:00pm. SRI will send a zoom link to its email list each week. You can contact us or sign up directly through the Vocational Rehabilitation Department by contacting Tanya Lambert 864-249-8048.
